We are very happy to announce that our project “Mapping bovine tuberculosis at the Kruger National park” has been approved by South Africa National Parks! We will be using exciting new techniques, using camera traps and eDNA, to investigate the role of environmental transmission and find the potential maintenance hosts. Addtionally, we will be investigating the role of biodiversity in possibly buffering disease transmission, known as the Dilution effect. Can’t wait to get started!
