My first day in BMO started in September 19.
It was my first experience as an intern..
I was still in part of UBC GAIP program.
So I was worried and also excited about this opportunity..!

The BMO branch that I worked is located in willingdon and hastings st.
Many of Italians live around there.
.
This is my branch..!
I stayed there from September 19 to December 13.
For 39 days, I greeted people visiting bank… 🙂
I usually stayed at information desk.

I greeted people with big smile ^——————–^

.
Moreover, when clients come, who have appointments with our managers,
I go to managers and tell them their clients are here.
And then I go back to clients again telling them “Manager will come and get you shortly.”

All of the staffs and clients were like family.
Most of the staffs knew what is going on with thier clients
and how they feel with the matters.
Every day went on with smiles and laughs with happiness. 🙂

Plus, I did filing every day.
Categorize files into personal, investment, mutual funds, closing files.
And place them in the files in the cabinet.
When the branch closes 4 p.m., I normally closed the door and locked the cabinets.
Also trash non used documents into specific plastic case.

During the intern, I learned how to deal with the problem between people.
Also I knew what customer service is.
Staffs in this willigdon and hastings branch treated clients as their family.
That was the reason why this branch has been lasting for more than 50 years.
Poeple constantly come to this branch and they tell about us to others
and they become our new clients and they tell us to others again.
This goes round and round.

Nothing is more worth than people.
What I learned is everything starts with people and ends with people.
Thinking clients as our family was the key to success in this branch.. 🙂
