We’re a group of UBC students who completed this blog as a project in BIOL 420 -marine conservation.

Megan Eadie: Megan is a 5th year Environmental Sciences student.  She’s passionate about conservation and sustainability, and has previously explored the issue of shark finning both in class and in her own time.

Vivian Hui:  Vivian is a fourth year animal biology student at UBC. She is particularly interested in the social implications of conservation. Regrettably, she has eaten shark fin soup before, but no longer does.

Logan Makaroff: Logan is a 5th year Biology student at UBC. New to the subject of ocean conservation, he has developed an interest in efforts of sustainability.
