Definition Assignment – In this assignment, I had to choose a relatively complex term and compose three (parenthetical, sentence, and expanded) definitions of the term. The objective of this assignment is to appreciate the importance of definitions in technical writing. I chose the term “algorithm”.
LinkedIn Peer Review – In this assignment, I wrote a peer review on my writing partner’s LinkedIn profile.
Complaint Letter and Response Letter – In this assignment, I had to write a two business letters – a complaint letter and a response letter from the company delivering bad news to me.
Formal Report Proposal and Formal Report – I have chosen to compose a report presenting to the Neighbourhood Transportation and Parking Unit of the City of Vancouver. The report proposes to eliminate back alley parking at 2195 W40th Avenue.
