Freedonia Focus, a market research database subscribed to by the UBC Library, is adding considerable international content over the next year. Freedonia content has traditionally been US-focused. Thanks to the hard work of the Sauder School’s Learning and Technology Services Technician, Anthony Yam, the Bloomberg terminal has been moved to the new Sauder computer lab in Henry Angus 119. Datastream is a valuable research tool, providing access to international financial and economic time series data. When the David Lam Library closed its facilities at the end of May, 2010, access to Datastream was made available in Koerner Library, Level 2. Datastream, a database of international economic, financial and stock price data, formerly housed in the David Lam Library, is now available in Koerner Library’s Humanities and Social Sciences Division (Level 2) on a standalone workstation. This computer (Humanities 87) is located near the Reference Desk and the Current Journals.
