I have a long history of using technology to support my practice as a teacher. In my first year of teaching, back in 1984, I used an Apple II and Appleworks to complete my report cards. It was cutting-edge at the time. Compared to the ease of today’s computers, it was a long, arduous, and frustrating task.

Classroom computers and a computer lab became readily available in the last fifteen years. I even had some access as a teacher in Tanzania in 2005/2006. Until recently, my focus has been on using technology to support learning in Language Arts and Mathematics: mostly through the use of drill and practice games.
