Subject: Finished My First Course

I have finished ETEC 511 – The Foundations of Educational Technology and will submit my term paper in a few minutes.

Mobile ePortfolios: A Tool for Reflection, Personal Growth, and Renewal

What a course of first this has been:

• my first online course
• my first university course in 28 years
• the first course in my masters
• my first participation in Skype, chat, and discussion threads
• my first blog
• my first discourse leadership group

I really must acknowledge the great group of people I have worked with in this course: lots of great discussion, the support I needed, and just enough laughs and learning to keep things moving along. Thank you for helping me develop a plan for my project. I have so much work to do to fully understand and implement mPortfolios in my classroom, but I can already see the improvements in my teaching. Looking forward to ETEC 500 – Research Methodology in Education in January. I am in Section 65C and hope I can work with some of these fine folks again.
