I remembered the question we were asked in class: Why did you choose business school? Answer varied from money, reputation, not good at sciences to fascinated by marketing strategies, wanted to start his/her own company and interest in capital markets. I encountered following situation for countless times after I studies abroad: “I’m from China.” “Oh you must be good at math then!” There seems to be a direct connection between “Chinese students” and “good at math”, I’m not denying that this is not true, but it’s not necessary. When you first see my title, what comes to your mind? When I first heard of those two words, I thought it was a pronunciation mistake made by my English teacher!
