My name is Dennis and I’m a specialty nursing faculty at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). My specialty and passion is the emergency room and preparing the next generation of registered nurses to thrive in this challenging environment.

Education and technology are constantly evolving, and diving into both through my graduate studies is diversifying my approach to teaching and learning. It’s functional, but messy!

I’m also committed to using the term “prompt-rot” with my students, AI-usage slang with negative connotations is really tickling my sense of humor these days.
