Dear Jackson,

Thank you for your timely reply to my application to join your professional writing team. I am beyond excited to hear these good news, and I would like to formally accept your offer to join your professional writing team this semester.

After reading your application letter, your past work with writings in research related fields make me believe that you are an experienced writer. Also, after reading your writings on your blogs page, I am confident that you are well-equipped with writing skills need in a professional setting, and you will be a strong asset to the team. I am very glad that you resonate with my learning philosophy, and I cannot agree more when you mentioned learning through tasks and mistakes. As a team, we will definitely encounter many challenges and new materials that we have never seen before, and being able to help each other work through those challenges without the fear of judgement when making mistakes is a crucial part of the learning journey in a collaborative environment. In addition, your work in preclinical drug discovery and development is especially intriguing to me as I also came from a physiology and pharmacology background. I would love to hear more about your previous work at our leisure time.

Finally, I cannot wait to meet you and other teammates. I have no doubt that we will have a great time working together this semester!

Cheers,
Duffy Du

Regarding your previous educational and work experience, I believe you will be able to foster a hard working environment, which is essential for having success in a collaborative environment. After going over your application letter, your past success in both school and work setting has demonstrated to me that you will be a strong asset to our team.
