We acknowledge the connection that Musqueam have had over time with the lands and waters throughout their territory as essential to their culture, knowledges, ways of being and practices, as well as a source for teaching and learning. Through EaSEIL\u2019s work we hope that current and next generations of earth science educators, learners and professionals think deeply about their role in relation to Indigenous communities and priorities. EaSEIL works with faculty who teach on the Land, some of whom teach courses at science field stations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">These stations include the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eoas.ubc.ca\/education\/ubc%E2%80%93teck-geological-field-station\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">UBC Teck Geological Field Station<\/span><\/mark><\/a><sup>1<\/sup> near Oliver, BC and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bamfieldmsc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre Station<\/span><\/mark><\/a><sup>2<\/sup> on Vancouver Island.
