My name is Dena. I’m a fourth year Global Health (GRS) student in the faculty of Land & Food Systems.
I find Ecohealth a fascinating topic to explore because of its transdisciplinary nature. I hope to gain a better understanding of the less obvious linkages between human health, environmental security, development, and poverty.
I’m excited to learn from everyone else as well!
Place I would be if given a week: Thailand.

Hi my name is Megan and I am a second year GRS Major specializing in Global Health. I’m interested in exploring the various disciplines that affect global health, including (but not limited to) food security, environmental sustainability, economics, sociology of peoples and cultures, rural/urban development, and the many sciences. I hope to get a firm footing into many of these interlinked topics in order to better understand what ‘Global Health’ entails as a whole.
I would love to travel to every part of the world, but if I were given just a week in one place (to start), I would pick Greece.

Hi, my name is Natasha, and I’m a fourth year Cell Biology & Genetics student. The topics of Global Health, infectious disease and climate fascinate me. Their interrelatedness to the environment is something I believe is central to their mitigation, and is also a topic I’d love to explore. I’m also excited to learn about how each of our unique backgrounds can contribute to the class.
If I were given a week to spend anywhere, I would love to visit to Malaysia!
