June 21 Book Launch of Ghost Fishing: An Eco Justice Poetry Anthology

On June 21st, the  summer solstice and National Indigenous People’s Day, we gathered in the backyard of the Historic Joy Kogawa house for an evening of Eco Justice Poetry.  It was a celebration of poetry, stories, visual art, music and community.

Christi Kramer generously organized and hosted this event in partnership with UBC Ecopoetics and Pandora’s Collective. What follows are photos of this celebration (with much gratitude to Jen Selman and Amar Chebib who took photos):
