The blog warmly welcomes <\/span><span style=\"color: #06506d;\">Silas Krabbe<\/span> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">and<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #06506d;\">Yotam Ronen<\/span> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">as new members of the editorial board.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1189\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/edst\/files\/2023\/02\/silas-face.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #06506d;\">Silas Krabbe<\/span> is a PhD student in EDST working within the philosophy of education. His research attempts to understand unintended cognitive violence between the educator and educatee, through the lenses of race, phenomenology, and theology. When off campus, you probably won&#8217;t find him; he&#8217;ll be out skiing or sailing with his wife and daughter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1190\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/edst\/files\/2023\/02\/Yotam-Ronen-Profile-Picture-e1677198340678-300x231.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"169\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #06506d;\">Yotam Ronen <\/span>is a PhD candidate at EDST. His research focuses on how radical educators during the early 20th century used education to realize their ideology of a free, egalitarian, and cooperative utopian society.
