You want to help parents better understand the new curriculum and the implications for learning for\u00a0the children in your class.<\/p>\n<p>In this assignment, you will create a video or PowerPoint slide presentation with voice over or other similar resource that will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Explain the new curriculum to parents<\/li>\n<li>Describe\u00a0how the curriculum will support your students&#8217; learning<\/li>\n<li>Illustrate\u00a0your approach to teaching within the\u00a0new curriculum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your video or PowerPoint slides with voice over\u00a0should be no more than 4 minutes long. \u00a0It can be in French or English, but I encourage you to do it in French. \u00a0As you create this, think from a parent&#8217;s perspective (i.e., what would a parent want to know?).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to addressing the points above, please include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>your name, date, and contact information (as relevant)<\/li>\n<li>resources cited (incorporate ideas from&#8211;and cite&#8211;at least\u00a0one peer reviewed article from the class)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you would like to suggest a modification to this assignment, please contact me by January 20, 2017. \u00a0I will need to approve any modification in writing.<\/p>\n<p>Please let me know if you have any questions or want me to look at a draft of your work.<\/p>\n<h3>How to submit your assignment:<\/h3>\n<p>Please include the link to your video in a post on this course blog.
