Who can attend the event?
The event is for UBC Bachelor of Education students part of the 2013-2014 year and their invited guests.
What is the itinerary for the night?
The night will consist of a dinner buffet followed by light entertainment, and plenty of time for dancing/mingling!
What is the dress code?
Semi-formal attire with a summer theme! (Jeans in good repair are acceptable)

How much do the tickets cost?
Tickets are $45 for teacher candidates and $50 for their guests. There are also $25 tickets for children, if they wish to attend.
Where can I buy Tickets?
Tickets are available your grad committee members in the Scarfe foyer from June 23-27 12pm-5pm, and Monday-Friday onwards 11am-6pm until July 18. Please bring your student ID with you!
Is there an early bird incentive?
The first 75 Elementary and 75 Secondary TCs will be entered in a bonus raffle for several additional door prizes including 4 draws for 2 bottles of wine, bookstore gift cards, grocery store gift cards, and more to be confirmed in the coming days!
How many guests are we allowed to bring?
There’s no limit, bring as many as you’d like!
Can I bring my kids (under 19) to this event?
Yes, you may bring your kids. You will need to purchase their ticket for $25; however, they won’t be a part of the raffle.

Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes. Approximately 250 parking spots are available on site.
When do do ticket sales begin?
Tickets will be available from 12am-5pm Mon-Fri starting Monday June 23, and 11am-6pm until July 18.
Can I choose my table?
Yes! Tables will be available on a first come, first serve basis in the Scarfe Foyer. You choose your seat at a table with friends if you’d like (10 people per table, max).
I cannot be there on time (6:00pm). Will that be a problem?
That’s alright, dinner will begin service at 7:30 p.m. Please note, we’ve adjusted the start time to 6:30 as well.
Are there options for guests with special dietary restrictions?
Yes. Please specify any dietary restrictions when buying your tickets.
I want to bring my own wine. Is this possible? Is there a corkage fee?
Unfortunately, outside food and drinks are not permitted. Drinks are available at the cash bar in the banquet hall.
Is there a patio or an outdoor area?
The Italian Cultural Centre doesn’t have a patio area, however there is an open area just outside the building to get some fresh air.
Is there a designated smoking area?
Yes, outside of the exit doors. In compliance with the City of Vancouver smoking by-laws please remain six meters away from any doorways or windows.
