Dr. David Perrin (UBC Chemistry) (Employed: Oct 2021 – Present):
In Dr. Perrin’s lab, I am a part of the peptides team and have been involved in many organic synthesis projects.
Dr. Calvin Yip (UBC Biochemistry) (Employed: Sept 2021 – Apr 2022):
In Dr. Yip’s lab, I was a work-learn student, shadowing various graduate students in the lab. I would help them with their day-to-day experiments and got to learn a ton of important biochemical techniques. The research performed in this lab mainly concerns protein biochemistry with a focus on the autophagy pathway.
