Flight Path Updated

I have updated my Flight Path for ETEC565A, and while I now think I have a solid direction to work towards, the activity turned out to be a slightly more complicated endeavor than I expected it would be. I think the flexibility of the 565A course played partially into this difficulty: my options are broad and thus I experienced some difficulty first in narrowing my focus; and secondly I experienced moderate gaps in my literature search specifically related to learning technologies specifically in security and defense contexts.

Although the CAF Campus seems to be an interesting recent development, I am uncertain how much information I will be able to source on the operational framework. However, considering the extent of the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) global network of partnerships, I am hoping that if specifically focusing on the CAF Campus framework does not work out, I will still be able to make some interesting cross-cultural comparisons on training and development modernization initiatives. In addition, the use of mLearning is an expanding topic, which is why I have proposed my goals structured around mobile devices.

I been considering the options for my Moodle-course subject matter. At the moment, I expect that I might create content towards operational security and the use of social media.

Hi Nicola, just wanted to say that the blog looks great and you’ve really fleshed out your flight path well. I had quite a struggle with it also as I hadn’t given it much conscious thought. The mobile direction would certainly be an update and a very interesting avenue in light of your context. Looking forward to reading more! : )
