Sample Flexibility Training Workout

Flexibility or stretching is performed to prevent injury, aid recovery, and maximize performance. It is also critical for muscles to regain their range of motion after injury prior to returning to full competition. Flexibility workouts should be performed at to points in the workout, after a warm up and after the cool down. Dynamic Stretching is done after the warm up to prepare the body for exercise and reduce the likelihood of injury. Static stretching is performed after the cool down to promote active recovery and increase the joints range of motion.
