I was extremely fortunate that I was able to go on a band retreat to Harrison Hot Springs with the Wind Ensemble. I taught music clinics, hosted rehearsal and had the students participate in several team building exercises. This is a shot from our “Human Machine” game.

Spring District Concert

The 14th Annual Spring District Concert! A gathering of 500 young, avid musicians from the surrounding elementary schools performing for one another under the mentorship of the senior high school orchestra!

The students wanted to find new and creative ways to fundraise for their trip to Disneyland last spring. They collectively decided to sell hanging baskets and the classroom was overflowing with beautiful flowers and a fresh spring scent!

Well, at least I know the students are paying attention! Perhaps I should also teach a lesson on spelling!
