I developed an interest for GIS in this introductory class. At first, I was frustrated with the program: I didn’t know how to work it, it was time-consuming, and my maps didn’t look good. My interest for GIS grew when I found out that I could use it as a platform to study and visualize the topics that I am most interested in, like the environment.
