The memorandum does a great job at avoiding the use of imperative verbs at the beginning of the bullet list. The suggestions are all effective methods that Evan Crisp could implement to improve his email writing.

List of Tips

These tips are great suggestions for Evan Crisp to improve his email. It avoids using imperative verbs which is excellent as it avoids talking down to the reader and is great use of “YOU attitude” style of writing.

Writing Style

The style of writing conforms somewhat well to “YOU attitude” style of writing. However, there seems to be too much use of the word “you” in this memorandum. Using the word “you” can make the reader feel singled out, especially when it is criticizing the reader. Limiting the use of “you” can help improve this memorandum and have it conform to the “YOU attitude” style of writing.

Grammar

This memorandum has no issues with grammar, however there does contain a minor spelling mistake.

  • The title “Memorandom” should be spelled as “Memorandum”
