Subject: Best Practices for using LinkedIn

Hello team,

I wanted to share some of the best practices for using LinkedIn as a professional network, that I have found helpful in the past.

  1. Following up: Whenever you meet someone, it’s generally a good idea to send a message and follow up. This helps to initiate and maintain a good professional relationship.
  2. Using In-Mail message: LinkedIn allows you to send a message to certain people who are not in your network. I think it is a good idea to refrain from using it as a sales pitch. Instead, it should be used to offer value or start a meaningful conversation.
  3. Replying back: I think when replying back to someone on LinkedIn, we should always try to end the conversation on a meaningful or valuable note, instead of casually texting because it shows that you value their time. Unnecessary notifications are not usually welcomed.

These are my top 3 tips for using LinkedIn. I have personally found the platform super useful. If you have any questions/concerns, please let me know.
