First Impressions

First impressions of the profile page are very promising. The page looked clean, completed with relevant information in each section. Your profile picture looks nice and the background photo provides a glipse of your background in real estate. The headline and about section were informative, recruiters and viewers can get to know about you without being too wordy and it shows that you are passionate about acquiring new opportunities. The experience and education sections were complete and filled out accordingly showing exactly the field of employment you would like to get into.

  • You have a custom URL for the profile instead of LinkedIn’s default numbers URL. This is wonderful and will make it easier to discover you LinkedIn profile.

 

Profile Photo

The profile picture is bright, clear and professional.

Title Box

The title box looks good, it shows clearly your career objective and that you are on the way to become a designated AIC appraiser.

Effectiveness of the Summary

The summary is very informative and covers your current education and employment status. It also reflects what your experience gained from your job and that you are determined to pursue a career in the real estate industry. Feel free to adopt the following recommendation:

  • Include activities/ hobbies you enjoy doing in your downtime will individualize the profile
  • Include any keywords or languages that are frequently used in the field of appraisal

 

Experience and Achievements

The list of experience looks wonderful and gives other potential employers a good sense that you are a hard-working and committed employee. Your experience also shows that you have the intention to continue grow and gain experience in this industry which I think most employers value this.

  • Feel free to showcase any achievements that have quantifiable or observable results. This could show more about your abilities to potential employers.

  • If there are any particular courses that you think are relevant to your career objective, it might be appropriate to include it in the education column. This could boost your credibility.
