The repeated usage of and causes the wording to be clear. Perhaps instead “Conducting historical and financial/economical research using primary/secondary sources across a variety of databases and repositories”
Cover Letter
In short, the cover letter is brilliant and no additional changes are required. It produces a compelling argument as to your qualifications of the job while outlining your skills and experiences. There are not grammatical or spelling errors, and the tone is also appropriate.
Resume
The resume is organized in a clean, concise and in a manner that is easy on the eyes. Perhaps the only thing missing may be the volunteer experience if applicable.
