Subject: Progress Report – Expediting IRCC hear FSW-inland applications

 

Purpose and Significance of Report

The purpose of this report is to provide suggestions for IRCC to speed up the FSW application by investigating the current situation of this immigration category and interviewing personnel involved, including FSW applicants, immigration consultants, etc.

 

Intended Audience

Sean Simon Andrew Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship of Canada.

 

Report Objectives

The objectives of this report are:

  • Investigate the current average waiting time of FSW applicants
  • Confirm if there are effective communication methods between the applicant and IRCC
  • Provide feasible suggestions to reduce the backlog of immigration applications

 

Methods

Secondary sources will include the data from the IRCC website.

Research Plan

In order to analyze the feasibility and provide effective recommendations, I plan to:

  • Distribute questionnaires to investigate the current progress of FSW applications
  • Identify the average waiting time currently faced by FSW applicants
  • Determine the responding time for IRCC to reply to requests from applicants
  • Determine the major issues the long waiting agony makes on the FSW applicants
  • Acquire relevant official data from the IRCC website
  • Data analysis on surveys
  • Produce visuals based on survey data
  • Propose plans to expedite the FSW applications
