I am writing to request a refund for my stay at Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile Suites.
Before arriving, I had made a reservation for a one king bedroom with a city view. However, when I arrived at Hilton Chicago at midnight on January 2nd, 2022, I was told that they had no available rooms with king beds.
I was given the option to instead stay in a room with a twin bed. Since I was really tired, I opted for the room. Upon my arrival in the room, I found the room to not be clean and still messy from the last guest. The blankets were all over the room, the bathroom smelled, and the carpet was wet with mud and dirty. I complained to the manager, and was not given a new room. Instead, they opted to clean it right away. I accepted the offer and let them clean. However, when I went to bed later that night, I found bugs under the bed. From that point forward, I left the hotel room and found a new hotel to stay at.
I would like to request a refund for the stay I had at Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile Suites on January 2nd, 2022. No customer should have to go through an experience like mine where they do not get the room they reserved, or stay in a dirty room, so I am asking you nicely to refund my stay for the night of January 2nd, 2022.
Please let me know if you can accommodate my request. I enjoy Hilton hotels and stay at them often. I know this was not anyone’s fault, but if you can please accommodate this I would be grateful.
