I appreciate you reaching out to WestJet regarding your concerns with the most recent flight. Thank you for bringing the matter of delays caused by WestJet flights to my attention. First, on behalf of WestJet, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by your flight delay. I have reviewed your complaint letter and I assure you we take all customer complaints very seriously.

Unfortunately, WestJet is unable to offer refunds on the account of flight delays caused by weather issues. We sincerely apologize for the stress added to your already stressful day due to the flight delays. Weather-related issues are out of WestJet’s control, and delays are put into place entirely for the safety of all passengers. As such, we are unable to take responsibility for weather-related inconveniences.

We understand you are a frequent flyer, and we care for you as a loyal WestJet customer. I would like to offer you a 25% discount on your next domestic WestJet flight. This discount is a maximum of up to a maximum of $150.00 and valid until Dec 2023.
