Business letter: complaint letter and bad new adjustment

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Anna, one of your prime customers for over four years. I am writing this letter to request a full refund for a product I bought last week and its return fee.

I purchased a Watch Band which is compatible with Apple Watch size 41mm with you last week. My order number is 579742658 under the user name Annacge. I received the product today and found the product is not the same as described on your webpage, also, the product is damaged.

On the webpage, it says the band is, Adjustable Lightweight Stainless Steel Bracelet with Link Removal Tool; however, the package I received has nothing other than the band, also, the band is not adjustable because each chain is welded to each other. Besides, the product blurb claims the band is compatible with the apple watch series 7, but it somehow does not match with my apple watch 7 at all, I could not even slide the band in the gutter. 

I have been shopping with Amazon as a Prime customer for years, I am very disappointed with this product. When I tried to return the band I found out that I will be charged for mailing fee which is almost the same price as the band. I am not sure if I should be responsible for this malfunctioning product. Hence, I request a full refund for the product and also a waiver of the mailing fee, which is 55 dollars in total. I would really appreciate it if you can help me with this order.

I understand your frustration with the product as it is different than you expected and the return fee is also higher than one would want to afford. Thus, we can offer you a refund for the return fee after we receive your return item. Please be noted that we cannot offer you a refund on either the return fee or the product without receiving the product back in our warehouse. A refund of a total of 55 dollars will be issued to your credit card within 7 days after the warehouse received your return.
