Subject: Missing food item in UberEats Order

 

To Whom it May Concern,

 

I ordered two Khao Kraprow Khai Dow and one Tom Yun Koong from Si Lom Thai Bistro through the UberEats App on March 12 at 6:31pm. The order not only arrived an hour later than the initial estimated time of delivery, but also, I only received one Khao Kraprow Khai Dow and one Tom Yun Koong. The order was missing an item (Khao Kraprow Khai Dow), but I was still charged the full amount for the order. I have attached a photo of what I received, and I would like to kindly ask for a refund of the money ($27.95) for the missing item.

 

My account is under the name of Aaron Uhr and associated with my phone number +1 (647) 622-6689. It would be greatly appreciated if the refund can be applied directly to my credit card on file. I am a loyal customer of UberEats who orders at least three times a week. I have had great experiences with the deliveries so far, and I believe your company creates a great solution for a more convenient living in cities with great customer satisfaction rate. I hope you could take this into consideration when making a decision.

After an investigation, we regret to inform you that we are unable to process a refund to customers’ credit cards directly in these situations, as the mistake was made by the restaurant. However, I am happy to apply a credit of $27.95 to your UberEATS account that you can use on your future orders and provide you with five 30% off coupons. These have already been added to your account under the name of Aaron Uhr.
