Please find attached my formal proposal for assignment 2.1; a formal report proposal. After reading through the required materials and instructions for assignment 2.1, I have chosen to analyze and provide solutions to the sustainable policies and practices in place at the UBC Geography Building.

- Audience: Students, visitors, and professors that use the building regularly.

- Some sustainable practices at the building are outdated and can be updated.
- Proposed Solution
- Provide solutions to current issues regarding sustainability in the building and analyze what it would take for UBC to implement the solutions.

- Four areas of inquiry.
- Methods
- Primary data resources include personal experiences, data collection, a survey of the building, and interviews of regular users in the building.
- My Qualifications
- Current student and regular occupier of the UBC Geography Building. Also, I have a professional background in sustainable building policies.
- Conclusion
- To raise awareness and approve my proposal to regular occupiers of the UBC Geography Building so further research can be conducted.
