The frustration you have been experiencing with the customer care team is something that is taken very seriously. Rest assured, you have been taken care of by our excellent staff who are trained to the highest regard and have multiple years of experience in customer care under their belt. 

Your loyalty and satisfaction is sincerely our top priority. However, your request for a $500 travel voucher cannot be accommodated for a few reasons. As stated in your ticket’s terms and conditions, flights are subject to change and/or be cancelled based on demands of the market. There is no specified requirement as to how much notice needs to be given prior. 

As an understanding of your patience, you may claim one of the following options:

  1. Receive a 10% discount on your next flight booking with American Airlines
  2. Receive a free upgrade to business class for your next flight with American Airlines
