According to the assignment instructions for lesson 2.1, I have posted my formal report proposal for improved ingredient and allergen labelling at food establishments in the AMS Student Nest on my team forum (Jessica’s team).
My research proposal contains the following:
- Audience Description – The UBC AMS
- Introduction of Topic – Implementing improved ingredient and allergen labelling at food establishments at the AMS Student Nest
- Statement of Problem – Insufficient ingredient and allergen labels on menus and packaged food
- Proposed Solution – Introduce more thorough and consistent ingredient labels
- Scope – Needs, satisfaction, and desires of students with dietary restrictions, and efficacious labelling practices
- Methods – Surveys, observations, and peer reviewed journal articles
- My Qualifications – A UBC Vancouver student, therefore a member of the AMS community
- Conclusion – Summarizes the benefits of implementing improved ingredient and allergen labelling
