I have completed and posted my formal report proposal to my team forum page (Leif Jack’s Team). I have attached my full report proposal down below.

Here is a brief summary of my proposal:

  • Audience Description – Syed Rizvi, the owner of Ice Cream on Grand
  • Introduction of Topic – Implementing Dairy-Free Options at Ice Cream on Grand, New Jersey, USA
  • Statement of Problem – No options for those who are vegan or lactose intolerant
  • Proposed Solution – Introduce dairy-free alternatives
  • Scope – To determine the feasibility, I will look into Kosher alternatives and the approximate costs of production, the demand for dairy-free flavors, the competitors’ inventory, how the ice cream will be priced, and the demographics the area
  • Methods – Surveys, observations, in-person interviews, government consensus
  • My Qualifications – A manager at Ice Cream on Grand
  • Conclusion – This implementation of dairy-free ice cream will cater to new groups of consumers and will help increase business.
