Subject: Summary of the best practices for professional networking on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is a powerful platform primarily used for professional networking. You can use the platform to develop your career by connecting with other professionals (both workers and employers) in your desired field. Here is a list of best practices for using LinkedIn:

1. Ensuring your profile is filled out completely to guarantee an optimized experience. Doing this will make a good first impression on the people viewing your profile (Balkhi). 
2. Including a professional-looking headshot, with a resolution of 1,400 x 425 pixels, for your profile photo will get your profile more interactions and views (“How To Make The Most Of Linkedin”). 
3. Utilizing keywords in your headline that you believe will resonate with your desired audience will help boost your profile (“How To Make The Most Of Linkedin”).
4. Connecting with people in the industry of your interest and with those who can provide you with valuable insights into your career (Balkhi).
5. Using a personalized message, instead of a generic LinkedIn invitation, with an introduction and the reason you want to connect, will help when you send a connection request (Balkhi).
6. Reaching out to your connections by sending them a personal message periodically will maintain the relationship you have established (Balkhi).
7.  Liking, commenting on, and sharing your connection’s posts will boost your engagement (“How To Make The Most Of Linkedin”).
8. Requesting an informational interview with a connection will help you learn industry-specific information from (“How To Make The Most Of Linkedin”)
9. Presenting yourself as an expert in your industry by posting interesting and educational content (such as articles, videos, and job postings) of your own (Balkhi)
10. Making sure you return the favour of helpful connections by writing a recommendation for those you can vouch for and endorse their skills whenever possible (“How To Make The Most Of Linkedin”).
