Subject: Data overage fees

I have reviewed my invoice for June and noticed there was an extra charge of $30 under cellular data. Previously, I received a text that I had exceeded my data usage by 1.01 gigabytes.

I was aware that an overage fee existed, but I did not think I would get the notification once I past the limit. Moreover, the overage fee is $15 per gigabyte, meaning that I would have to pay an extra $15 even if I immediately stopped using any data after receiving the text.

I believe PhoneBox should have been responsible for notifying its customers before they reach their limit. As a student with no steady income, I specifically chose PhoneBox because it claimed to have the most affordable mobile plans. However, having to pay overage fees that are nearly the price of a monthly plan is quite hard for me to accept. I therefore request a waiver for my data overage fees for June.

As a customer who have always appreciated your services, I would appreciate that you would take the time to look into this matter.

Sincerely,

Jeemin Kim
