The submission did a fantastic job of defining the processes of “automation testing.” The submission has a well-thought-out structure that makes it easy to read while adhering to a professional yet approachable tone for its readership.

  • The bolded heading and adjusted font sizes make the submission easy to read.
  • Appropriate-level of detail for the target audience and reading scenario. 
  • The visual is clearly labelled and supports the explanation under the sub-header. 
  • The works cited needs to be alphabetized. 
  • The citation style needs to be made clear. 

Expressions 

  • The language used is easy to understand. 
  • The writing is clear and concise in its structure. 
  • The tone comes across as friendly and professional. 

Some sentences can be improved for paragraph flow: 

  • “After software developers implement the system, they must properly test their software to ensure that the result meets all user requirements criteria…”
  • “Since human labor is much slower and more expensive than work done by computers, developers can benefit from automated testing by extensively reducing the time and cost that were previously required from human testers in manual testing…”

Content

The submission satisfies the requirements outlined by the instructor’s blog. The submission contains the following:

  • A clear and concise introduction.
  • A brief paragraph on the target audience and reading scenario. 
  • Three different definitions are outlined in the instructor’s blog. 
  • Inclusion of a visual aid outlined by the instructor’s blog. 
  • A list of references for the work cited. 

Definitions

  • The document exemplifies three types of definitions for “automation testing”.
  • Parenthetical Definitional: A clear and concise definition is provided.
  • Sentence Definition: Defines the concept clearly without over-complicating it to the reader.
  • Expanded Definition: Detailed and accurate definition of term. Utilizes the four expansion techniques deftly.

Visuals 

  • The visual was appropriately-used in the submission.
  • The visual is clearly labelled and supports the explanation.
  • The visual is striking because of the vibrant colours used. 
  • The visual is in high-resolution. Beneficial for those with poor eyesight.
  • A citation for the visual needs to be added under the title of figure (Lannon & Gurak, 401). 

Grammar and Typos 

Some errors have been found in the submission:

Pay attention to typos:

  • Work flow should be workflow 

Be careful of verb tense:

  • “Before they adopted automation testing…”
  • “The time and cost that were previously required from human testers…”
  • Since modern software systems have become large and complex…”

Remove the colon after the question marker in two sub-headers:

  • “Comparison and Contrast”
  • “Required Conditions”

Work Cited 

  • The submission satisfies the requirement set by the instructor’s blog with over three citations. 
  • The submission is unclear with which citation style is being used. 
  • The work cited needs to be alphabetized.

Concluding Comments

Overall, the submission was engaging and informative regarding the complex term “automation testing.” Here are a few suggestions to improve your submission:

  • Correct the issues with grammar (punctuation, verb tense, and typos). 
  • Rewording sentences to improve the flow of writing. 
  • A citation for the visual needs to be located under the title of the figure (Lannon & Gurak, 401). 
  • Choosing a citation style to adhere to in the submission.
