Subject: Memo — Formal Proposal for Improving the Knowledge of Different Post Secondary Pathways for High School Students
As required for Unit 2.1, all English 301 students must complete a Formal Proposal to be approved by the English 301 instructor. Please see the attached formal proposal.
The attached formal proposal letter includes:
- Introduction of Proposal – Youth worker and high school outreach coordinators
- Statement of Problem – gaps in knowledge regarding post secondary institutions
- Proposed Solutions – a Q&A event for high school students to ask questions about different post secondary institutions
- Scope of Questions – current level of understanding regarding post secondary, top choices of institutions, types of resources, and quality of resources.
- Potential Primary and Secondary Sources – online survey, literature review of post secondary outcomes and Global News articles.
- My Qualifications – current work experience related to post secondary
- Conclusion – summarizes the beneficial outcomes of providing quality post secondary resources for high school students.
