Subject: Memo: Formal Report Proposal for Improving Road Safety in West Vancouver Residential Area
Per the instructions in module 2.1, I have completed the formal report proposal and posted it on my respective team forum, Team SJGG. I have also attached a copy to this email memo.
The proposal includes the following:
Introduction: Provides background information on Canada and West Vancouver’s speed limits and the usage of speed detectors.
Statement of Problem: Point out the problem of speeding and its potential negative impact on West Vancouver.
Proposed Solution: Introducing speed cameras as a countermeasure to speeding by highlighting their effectiveness while presenting an alternative method for contrast.
Scope: Defining the scope of the speed camera with possible concerns.
Method: Online survey directed to Vancouver instead of only West Vancouver for a border sample size and different perspectives.
Qualifications: My background as a West Vancouver resident, a responsible driver, and a concerned citizen.
Conclusion: Further reinforcing the effectiveness of speed cameras and their necessity.
Please let me know of any changes or improvements, I look forward to your feedback. Thank you.

Gareth Yuen
