Subject: Memo Concerning Best Practices for LinkedIn

As outlined in Unit Two Lesson Two, I have compiled a list of best practices for using LinkedIn in 2023. The list summarizes the research I have conducted over time and I hope this proves to be beneficial to all readers:

The list of best practices for LinkedIn is as follows:

  1. Ensuring the LinkedIn account includes a profile and background photo serves as an introduction to the viewers will promote others to connect
  2. Updating the skills section with relevant information will showcase expertise and mastery, which will be attractive to employers
  3. Choose and think about a relevant title for the LinkedIn profile as a relevant title will attract employers and people of similar characters
  4. Taking LinkedIn Skills Assessments on listed skills will provide support and credibility, strengthening the profile
  5. Being active by liking posts and sharing media will increase visibility to other users and potential employers
  6. Turning on creative mode on LinkedIn will allow access to a variety of exclusive tools that may prove useful
  7. When using common keywords such as creative, innovative, leadership, etc, providing  evidence with metrics will showcase the skills better than simply listing them
  8. Being creative, especially in the About section of the profile, will showcase uniqueness to viewers and therefore stand out from other users
  9. Using the search function to find people from companies of interest and establishing a connection is an excellent way of getting a referral to a company
  10. Asking connections to endorse skills on the LinkedIn skills page contributes to a stronger profile

I have included the sources in this memo in MLA format, indicated below.
