The data section is helpful in providing information on the average order size, frequency of visits, wait times, and overall satisfaction of UBC students who visit Tim Hortons on campus. The use of pie charts makes the data easy to interpret, although providing additional information on the methodology of gathering the sample size and adding the number of respondents next to the percentages would have been useful.

Overall, the report identified the problem clearly in the current situation of Tim Hortons branches at UBC and provided practical and feasible solutions for it.

  • Background information about the current wait times at Tim Hortons at UBC provides a short and concise description for the readers to effectively understand the current situation on Tim Hortons branches surrounding campus.
  • Information about the benefits of express lines makes a clear distinction between different items that can be served without much preparation time which makes a point why the report has relevance. However, there needs to be some data to support this claim.
  • Purpose and the intended audience is concisely stated as determining the feasibility of implementing more express lanes at Tim Hortons branches on campus.
  • Methods of Study has detailed information about the primary data collection, which could have helped the secondary research section if the details were also specified.
  • Scope of Inquiry questions align with the purpose of the report.
