An excellent example of how to include details ….

Hello 301,

Many of you will have received the note: Details Please. Here is an example of a nicely detailed First Impressions section:

Note:
  • The consistent use of present tense
  • Details are in bold
Initial Impressions:

The document does a good job of assisting  the reader in understanding the definition on first reading. The assignment is introduced along with the reading situation (a lecture), and the term (bioequivalent medication).  There is sufficient information for the parenthetical and sentence definitions to provide a basic understanding of bioequivalent medication. The expanded definitions, mainly on how bioequivalence is determined and the visual, are useful in providing more details. The other strategies include a history and examples, which are also strong points. Revisions aren’t entirely necessary other than correcting a few grammatical errors and typos, but the write-up has a few complex or compound sentences to be revised. Overall, the document has enough information to be fully understood on the first read within the scenario and audience.
