- Technical Definition
This was the one of the first assignments. I chose to define the word ‘cache’ in the context of computer science. I chose the word because I felt that it is a term that people have heard of, but do not understand. I thought that this assignment provided me with good practice for speaking with less ‘technical’ people about technical terms.
- Formal Report
This was the largest assignment and took a great deal of time and effort. I felt that making this report was excellent practice for creating formal reports in the future. I chose to investigate how coding can be implemented into the BC elementary and high school curriculum.
- Peer Review of Final Report Draft
This assignment was very helpful because it helped me see areas to improve in my paper and also gave me practice on providing helpful critique on others work. I also found made me recognize the diverse interests of people taking this class.
