Welcome!<\/p>\n

My name is Joyce Wu. I am a UBC Science alumna currently registered as an Unclassified student to take ENGL 301. I am working as an Intermediate HR Business Analyst at a post-secondary institution.\u00a0 Majority of my work time is spent on supporting and training end users on specific modules within the HR Management System that our institution uses, and creating customized reports by extracting data from the database.<\/p>\n

I enjoy learning new things that can help me grow intellectually, personally and professionally. I have been taking at least one class per term through continuing studies and part-time studies at various post-secondary institutions after graduation. Courses I took range widely from molecular virology, financial accounting, web development, strategic HR planning, and etc. Acquiring knowledge through classroom setting is great, but I have to say that I am not exactly fond of doing the assignments and exams that come with it.<\/p>\n

Outside of work and class, I enjoy activities that are less taxing on brain cells, such as, binge-watch TV dramas, play Pokemon Go, and sleep.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
