Hello! My name is Magdalena (she/her/hers) and I am in the final year of my Master of Music in Opera Performance degree at UBC. When I’m not “formally” singing opera, I can usually be found listening to musical theatre songs, reading fantasy or science fiction novels, knitting, or watching nature documentaries. I was born in Victoria and spent my early childhood in Stouffville, Ontario, but for the past decade I’ve been proud to call Vancouver home – and I look forward to finding out a bit more about what exactly “home” means as we progress in this course!
