This week we were working on compiling the individual group’s infographics together into one cohesive brochure that could accompany the symphony. It was interesting thinking about all the small detail matter when working together, such as text font, background colour, etc but also presented a unique type of challenge when it came to group work. Based on our meeting last week it had seemed that this process would be relatively straightforward, but unfortunately the levels of communication required for the small tweaking of details and level of cohesion we were trying to achieve was much more challenging than we originally predicted.  From this, we had to adapt. It was a learning moment for all of us when it came to planning. As much as we as students rely on technology as a communication tool and often use it in place of in person interactions, it cannot always fully replace in person communication. There is some group work that truly cannot be done without getting everyone together in one room and dedicating some time to the creation of one, cohesive end product. By the end of our next meeting, we were able to get much closer to having all of our information in one spot, on one template, ready to be printed and shared.
