I have reviewed your letter of application and I am very interested in working with you in a writing group. Your background in both biogeoscience and computer science really stood out and I think you would be a perfect member for our ENGL301 writing team.
Your past work experience as a salesman and a C# developer suggests that you are responsible and skilled in technical communication. Furthermore, you described yourself as a kinesthetic learner and I agreed with you that the best approach to creating a piece of writing is “just write” along with constant revision. That being said, your ability in proof-reading and editing will be a great asset to our writing group.
