He wrote a\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Barbara Weber called <em>Intensive Resonances: A Deleuzian Pedagogy of Difference in Philosophizing with Children<\/em>. It deals with <strong>Philosophy for Children (P4C),<\/strong>\u00a0the work of\u00a020th-century French philosopher <strong>Gilles Deleuze<\/strong> and focuses on the concepts of <em><strong>Learning<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<b><i>Affect<\/i><\/b><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>and<strong><em>\u00a0Thinking Immanence<\/em><\/strong>. He aims to show that the manner in which thinking and learning operate for Deleuze has important pedagogical implications for the theoretical and practical cornerstone of P4C: <strong>The<\/strong> <strong>Community of Philosophical Inquiry (CPI)<\/strong>. Based on\u00a0these implications, he suggests several\u00a0pedagogical innovations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Most recently, he has two articles that have been accepted for publication. Firstly, a book chapter entitled \u2018Existential Urgency: Towards a Provocation to Thinking Different,\u2019 which combines a reading of Heidegger\u2019s provocation to think and Merleau-Ponty\u2019s concept of embodiment to reconceptualize thinking as embodied practice. And second, an essay entitled \u2018Affect and Philosophical Inquiry with Children\u2019 for which he was <strong>awarded the 2022 essay prize<\/strong> by the International Council of Philosophical Inquiry with Children (ICPIC) and will be published in the journal <i>Childhood &amp; Philosophy<\/i>. He is the <strong>Education Director<\/strong> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/thinkingplayground.org\">Thinking Playground<\/a> and assistant director at the Vancouver Institute of Philosophy for Children.
