During practicum we worked in pairs on a Book Creator project with the class I-pads. The students incorporated the life cycle of a plant as part of our science unit and this was the rubric I created for them. They used this to mark themselves and I also assessed them with it.
As well, we worked on a written, independent project for our socials unit. This was the rubric I created for them. The students assessed themselves from this standard. It helped give them a clear direction for the project and I will definitely continue creating and using these in the future.
