Out of the assignments that I have completed for this course, assignment three has been my favorite so far. I have within the course of a few weeks learnt so much about Moodle’s LMS platform. This assignment took me out of my comfort zone and challenged me to create fun, interactive activities including assessments for the participants in this course. I learnt how to use Moodle’s numerous assessment features to create quizzes, online discussions along with assignments. Learning how to embed videos and other multimedia resources to create this module was truly an asset to me. The project documentation, especially the section on Pedagogy allowed me to have a greater appreciation for formative assessments and technology. It is my hope to facilitate a professional development workshop at my workplace on Formative assessments and technology upon completion of this course. I hope to pass on the knowledge and skills that I have gained during this course to my colleagues.
